Coca-Cola are using tea/coffee residues to power one of their bottling plants. Sounds like good news. My good friend (the prospective Dr.) Fritz Moedinger has been using waste from fruit juice production to help offset power costs a brickworks in the S. Tyrol -- see the Environmental Product Declaration here. Now all that we need is a demo. model here in Stoke; there's lots of biodegradable wastes around here that we could easily get our JCBs on.
