Surely shome mistake
Phil Drabble died last Sunday. I remember watching him on the telly years ago - yep, I admit to watching sheep dog trials...so shoot me. Phil seemed an anachronism even then...but a brilliant communicator. Anyway, as a follow up to their fine obit.,
in a subsequent email the Telegraph managed to transpose old Phil into - and here I quote "a historian, philosopher, linguist, author and expert on persecution, genocide and extermination". Meantime, Professor Cohn was presumably watching sheep dogs in the rain. Wasn't that a song written by Roy Wood?
