Just a heads up for the uninitiated...it was [or even still is] a great idea but at the moment, for many [including me] it's a no no. Opted in and, as many other posters have noted, the router upgrades its firmware and then it's downhill all the way. I'm the poster that ended up having to log in using paid minutes on BT Openzone (OK - I don't actually pay for them as they are included in my fabulously expensive monthly contract for BT's Rolls Royce connectivity...but you get the drift)...where was I? Oh yes, PAID minutes through my own home router - just to get a stable connection. Eventually, having tried practically everything else, I opted out and reset the router back to factory default. After all this...back to the RR 54Mbps mentioned above. Pity BT didn't beta test it a bit more first. I'll opt back...but only when I know that Openzone won't get 95% of my bandwidth, my overall WiFi signal strength isn't halved and I can maintain a connection for more than 15 mins. without doing a Windows repair or a full reboot on the 'puter. Then, and only then, can my milkman can get his PDA fired up when he's dropping off the cowjuice.
