A busy time in May - short visits [working] to Brussels and Finalnd and a slightly longer visit [R&R] to N. Italy, although I took my mum so in that sense it was working too :) Workshop-running in Southampton, institution meetings in London and external examining in Derby...hopefully the travelling will reduce a little now, at least for a while.
Mark Knopfler in the UK was such a cool gig and Bruce last week was just the best fun I've had in ages. Thanks to the band for doing it, to Clodagh for queuing with me and sharing the fun, and to the other 53,000 who were there for the buzz. My first, and most probably my last, time in The Pit - worth every penny and every second.
Matchbox 20 are a fine band too and their recent NIA gig was brilliant.
