...and a belated happy New Year! Well, we shall see -- the erstwhile cardiologist wishes to reboot me with a 40,000 volt get-out-of-clinical-death-free *procedure* . I can't wait; but I shall have to...at least until the NHS pays the outstanding utility bills. [1. Memo to heart: Remember plea from previous post. 2. Memo to National Grid: On a future date and time to be determined, please ensure NO power cuts.]

What else's new...oh yeah, a new (old) car for Robyn so that she can reciprocate taxi duties -- by my reckoning she has about 6 year's worth to catch up on.

On a completely different topic...it's good to see 'demics starting to use blogs. I hope those that do are more assiduous and timely than I am. A new year's resolution for me maybe :o) At Harvard yesterday and Friday, a Blogging, Journalism and Credibility conference brought together a bunch of interesting people to discuss the way things are going and the blurring of lines relating to verification/ethics and so on. You can find transcripts and webcast archives there -- read and hear where and how things are going to develop...and 'DEMICS TAKE NOTE! Interestingly, some felt that the Godsquad should have featured more prominently...others were more relaxed. Anyway...it's good to talk...although things were a bit rushed towards the end as the snow set in.
