The armchair balloonist

Kent Couch - isn't that just a great name for a guy who goes on lawn-chair balloon trips? Sounds more like the B&Q version of the vehicle than the name of the pilot.

Wasn't one of his predecessors the proud winner of a Darwin Award a few years ago? I think it was the LA dude who screwed up [about 15,000 feet up as I recall) by encroaching on LAX approach ...yep, just being lazy there - here's the guy.

Update: Apparently it's becoming all the rage, although this guy wasn't so lucky.
