New stuff from IBM

A couple of interesting things have come out of IBM recently...

1. New ways of looking at/mining data with Many Eyes

I'm assuming that it's just coincidence that the specimen tag cloud on the landing page relating to Obama's acceptance speech contains the words 'Dick', 'love' and hard' all next to each other.

2. A new 3D game called 'PowerUp' which I must check out in some detail as it looks like a potential learning resource designed for the kinds of things I'm interested in both subject-wise and teaching-tool-wise.
