Presentations, especially PowerPoint presentations, can so easily degenerate into a series of slides-with-bullet-points or, God forbid, slide after slide of (often dense) text that the presenter reads to the assembled brethren...usually directly from the screen with his/her back to the audience. Ugh. I think that having a 'back-projected' running (often sparse) visual commentary with pictures/graphics as an adjunct to the spoken element is so much more engaging...as Lawrence demonstrates:
Time consuming to create - even with the ability to recycle segments - but worth it. Mental note to Glynn; your teaching/learning stuff could do with a major overhaul.
